Author Description Zachary is a Pennsylvania transplant living and writing in Northern Virginia. After tutoring English and ESL at the local community college for eight years, he became a technical writer and proposal specialist at a large electrical contractor. His first novel, AVENGARDE, was a fantasy finalist in the 2017 International Book Awards and received an Honorable Mention in the 2017 New York Book Festival. His short story “Good Steel” was featured in ART OF WAR: ANTHOLOGY FOR CHARITY to benefit Médecins Sans Frontières. Zachary received his MFA in fiction from George Mason University in 2021. He's also a gardener, backpacker, and dog dad to Ms. Pepper Pawts, a mini-Schnauzer.<br />
